Minimalism is all about living with less. The word minimalism has a negative connotation to many. They believe being a minimalist means you are sacrificing things. Minimalism describes movements in various forms of art and design, especially visual art and music, where the work is set out to expose the essence, essentials or identity of a subject through eliminating all non-essential forms, features or concepts.
The art movement was truly ground-breaking for its time, as it saw artists focusing on highlighting the very true essence of the medium
